Today, Sr. Kathryn concluded her presentation on understanding and living in Multi-Cultural communities. As part of an excercise, each Carmel and each Province of Friars reported back to the group on their understanding of their uniqueness and how that might be perceived by newcomers. It was also helpful for us to get to know the other communities.
In the evening, we were blessed to visit the Shoreline Carmel. So, 42 of us piled into a bus and headed 50 minutes north to Shoreline, WA. We were graciously received by Mother Maria, Sister Sean and the whole Shoreline community for dinner, prayer and fraternal sharing. Thanks to the Shoreline community for their great hospitality.
