Day 7 May 31 Visitation

Fr. Daniel Chowning began his time with us today. He began as a moderator for our discussion on our Constitutions. Each Carmel was invited to share with the group how they teach the Constitutions to their women in formation. Tomorrow we will hear from the Friars.

Because of the Feast of the Visitation and Memorial Day we had a change in schedule which allowed us to have Mass at 11:15 a.m.

The staff of the SLC prepared a beautiful cookout for us: hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad and all the fixings.

For desert, Chef Paul made homemade apple pie and cherry pie.

After dinner, Sr. Mary led us in a lively game of "detachment".

...and a good time was had by all.
